1. The Dream Machine is an award-winning point & click adventure game about exploring other people's dreams. It's built by hand using materials such as clay, cardboard and broccoli. In Chapter 5, Victor must gain access to the last two neighbors' dreams and try to stop the dream machine once and for all.

This is the second prototype game I developed for EECS 499 at the University of Michigan as a research project. The research project was interested in exploring the application of machine learning in game development. As such, I tried to create a playable game centered around machine learning agents. This prototype game is the end result of what I was able to accomplish in little under a semester's worth of research and development.

Install instructions

Windows:

1. Download and unzip the files.
2. Double click to run the 'The Flower's Nightmare.exe'.

Mac OS X:

1. Download and unzip the files.
2. Make sure the game is in an easy to access location.
3. Open the Terminal and type the following commands:
   1. cd
   2. chmod +x Mac_Build.app/Contents/MacOS/*
4. Right click on the app and click 'Open'.
5. Click 'Open' on the pop up screen.
